Another Monday is here, marking the beginning of a new week. My cleaner will be arriving shortly for the weekly clean, helping to get everything back in order and ready for the week ahead.
There isn’t too much happening this week, so it looks like it will be a relatively quiet one, which is a welcome change. One of the things I need to take care of this morning is arranging for my mobility scooter to go in for its six-monthly service.
When I speak with them, I also need to discuss what happens if they need to keep the scooter for more than three days. If that is the case, I will need to arrange a rental scooter, as I cannot go for an extended period without being able to get out and about independently. Last time, I was without it for almost a week, and I don’t want to find myself in that situation again.
Next week, I will also be arranging my Centrelink loan so I can purchase a new laptop. My current laptop is now more than six years old and is well overdue for an upgrade. Given how much I use it every day, particularly for gaming and other computer-related activities, a new gaming laptop will make a significant difference.
I’m also looking forward to getting back into streaming my gaming sessions once the new laptop is up and running. It’s something I’ve enjoyed doing previously, and having a more capable machine should make returning to streaming much easier.
For now, this is just a brief update on what is coming up over the next week. There isn’t a great deal happening, but I’ll share more updates as the week progresses.
