The announcement of the 2026 Gold Logie was a memorable moment, with Kath & Kim character Sharon Strzelecki, portrayed by Magda Szubanski, joining Robert Irwin on stage to reveal this year’s winner. Szubanski, who is currently in cancer remission, brought her much-loved character back for the special occasion.
At just 22 years old, Robert Irwin also made history as the youngest host in Logies history. Who done an absolute fantastic job.
The 2026 Gold Logie was awarded to Sam Pang.
