Friday Plans and an Upcoming Bookish Excursion

Tomorrow is Friday again, and this week seems to have flown by. It feels like I only just finished last week’s Friday routine.

We’re heading to Ettalong first to visit the vape shop, then I’ll pick up breakfast from one of my favourite bakeries. I’ll stick with my usual: a chicken and beetroot sandwich, a caramel tart and a can of Coke. It comes to just under $15, which feels like a pretty good deal these days.

This week, I’m asking Chaice to make me a sausage stir-fry with noodles. I haven’t had one in a while, so I’m looking forward to it.

On Saturday, I’ll have Bodie with me. We’re keeping things simple: breakfast out, a drive, and then a few jobs around the house. The main one is getting started on the garage. I also want to bring all my books inside and find them a proper home under the TV in the living room. Once they’re sorted, I can put together a spreadsheet of my collection. Keeping it on Google Drive means I’ll be able to check it on my phone when I’m out book shopping—and avoid buying a book I already own.

My phone bill is due tomorrow, too. Every 28 days, it’s another $40 to keep my phone active and make sure people can reach me.

Next week looks fairly ordinary, with the usual things to take care of, plus my monthly Google One and Microsoft bills. I’m also due for my psoriasis injection later in the week.

My leg and foot are slowly healing. I forgot to pick up the next course of antibiotics from the chemist today, so I’ll ask Chaice to get them tomorrow. I’ll check my medicine box while I’m at it and see if there’s anything else I need.

On the 14th of next month, I’m heading to Sydney to visit my sister and nieces—and, of course, to check out the big bookshop. I’ve heard they have a huge collection of James Patterson, one of my favourite authors. I can already see myself spending a bit too much that day… oops!

That’s enough from me for now. More soon.
