Upcoming Week

I have a busy week ahead of me again this week, which really is a normal thing now. When I was homeless I never used to have a schedule or things planned in advance as I have for over 21 months now. Nearly every week since moving into this semi-supported program my weeks have been full of appt.’s, this week is no different.

This week starts off as always with the Doctors, then goes to Centrelink and the Reptile Park for the day with Ethan, which is something I am looking forward too, followed by another meeting with the CEO of Coast Shelter, followed by another specialist appt. and then the week finishes as always with a chemist and Coles trip for weekly supplies. So pretty much it is another week with things on every day, some of those days are only half days but that can easily change with short notice as things do all the time.

I must admit I do prefer to keep busy nowadays instead of just being locked away doing nothing. But it does cause me a lot of pain being out walking on my leg, which is why last week my Doctor has to increase my pain medication, which is something I am not too happy about as we are trying to get off them and we were going so well. We can reduce them again straight away if I stop going out and maybe just go back to the going out on Fridays and maybe an hour a week. But I don’t want to do that. I need to get out, I need to stop being locked away at home all the time, I need to be out doing things, whilst still being at home at certain times running my business,

Today has been one of those days where I really haven’t been feeling well and have been in and out of bed all day long. So I doubt I will be sleeping much again tonight, but hopefully, since tomorrow is Sunday I can get back on track a little before my busy week ahead. The day the is really going to make me hurt is the day we go to the Australian Reptile Park, we are going for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours, so a lot of walking and taking happy snaps with animals and such, not to mention getting creeped out by the snakes and spiders they have there too … OMG, that is going to be interesting. What I know for a fact is this day I must have my pain and anxiety medications on me for this trip. It is nothing I have done before, let alone for such a long period. But I believe I am going hurt that night and the next morning. But I believe it will be totally worth it.

I will post pictures from the day either later that night or the next day on my Facebook page and also on here as well. Alright, that is enough from me for now, more in the coming days. Don’t really expect anything tomorrow though as Sunday is my day off from everything.
