Everything Has Changed …

So, after 18 weeks and 6 days I was finally discharged from Hospital and into my now forever home which turned out to be a 2 bedroom fully modified unit with lock up garage for my mobility scooter.

The good thing is there is only carpet in the bedrooms which makes getting around In the wheelchair a lot easier then I was expecting. It is hard rolling your chair on carpet. I am constantly having to transfer from the wheelchair to another chair or to the toilet or the bed or mobility scooter. So far I have only had a little issue transferring to the recliner chair as it moves. So, trying to find a solution for this. But can do it with a big of difficulty.

The new home though is bloody amazing. I will take some photos tomorrow and post them. It will still show all the boxes being unpacked but you will get the idea of the place with the way it is already.

Anyway enough from me for tonight as I am now headed to bed.
