Current Heat Wave

This weekend (starting as of today) we have a weekend-long heat wave. At 9.30am this morning at home it was already 30’C. It did get to 38’C today. But right now at 4.35pm, it is still 34.3’C (and rising again). Tomorrow (Sunday) we are looking at a temperature of 41’C. Even with my little portable aircon it really isn’t making a major change in temp inside. It is for sure cooler than outside, but still feeling the heat. I am even thinking of pulling out the normal fan to have running also. I had 4 cold showers within an hour earlier and looks like I might be jumping back in again very soon for a cool down for a bit as well.

What is bad is tomorrows temperature is supposed to be hotter than today’s, so that is going to be a killer of a day. Then from Monday, we have showers for a couple of days with a drop of Monday to 28’C and Tuesday down to 24’C. Oh, winter please hurry up, I do love and prefer the cold weather over this heat any day of the year.

Also can not believe that today is the 1st of February. The first month of 2020 has just flown by and I have no idea where it has gone and can’t get any of that time back, not that I really want too anyway with some of the things that happened last month. This will be a better month for sure.

The other day I requested an update on my forever home and am now awaiting a reply to see where things are at. I so can’t wait to move and then I can finally settle down for the remainder of my days.

Anyway, too hot to write anymore. So that is it for me and I will write again soon.
