Terrigal Trip

Yesterday I had my first outing under my NDIS funding package. I went to Terrigal Beach with a lovely lady called Sarah. So easy to talk to and get along with. We got a drink and had a pizza by the beach and just relaxed and talked for a couple of hours. It was great to get out on a weekend. Something I have not done in a very long time.

I am planning on doing other trips with her. more than likely on a Saturday from here on in and to other locations around the coast. Probably gonna do it every 3 or 4 weeks. I don’t want to rush into things and go too fast, I don’t want to burn myself out and do it every weekend at the moment. For me right now I just need to take things slowly.

Today, I am going to the pool for a couple of hours. Something that I will enjoy as I love my swimming and it is supposed to be in the mid-30s again temperature-wise. So a good day to go to the pool. I just hope there aren’t too many people there.

When I got home I was totally exhausted and in a lot of pain, so I had some medication and went to sleep. I was having a really nice sleep until I got woken up at 10.30pm by my messenger going off on my phone. All for a fucking spam message, one of those chain-link kinds of things that I can’t stand. I have also told this person before not to send me shit like that. Now it is 1am and I am still awake, in pain and can’t get back to sleep. So a bit pissed off with that. 30 minutes later and my phone would have automatically put itself into Do Not Disturb mode so I wouldn’t have even heard it. I might have to look at adjusting the DND settings.

If I am still awake in about an hour I will make myself a very, very late dinner as I haven’t eaten yet as I was sleeping. And that is something I don’t get much of these days anymore. So when I get woken up that this for shit it does annoy me. I hope I might be able to get a bit more sleep before I have to go out later in the morning to the pool. I can’t really go swimming drugged up and falling asleep. That really won’t be a good mix in the water.

Anyway, that is enough for now. I will write more soon. Some more things coming up over the next couple of weeks …
