ROO LOA & RIP Nikolas

I know some people are a little concerned about me at the moment as I hardly take a Leave of Absence for a period of time unless it is important. And right now I have taken a few days LOA from Reach Out Online (ROO). So instead of explaining it multiple time I have decided to just do a post about it here so it will make it easier for me. And it also keeps my followers updated with what is happening in my life as well, which is the whole point of my website.

A couple of days ago I was informed that another friend has passed away. RIP Nikolas, I will miss you dearly. And I know I can’t attend the funeral as you are too far away. Perth is just not a place I can get too .. especially without money for flights, accommodation and everything needed for a couple of days away. Anyone in Australia knows that Perth is on the complete opposite side of the country to the Central Coast. It is 3998 kilometres (approx. 2848 miles).

This is now the 3rd person I have lost in the last 12 months. So to say I am not coping the best right now is a little bit of an understatement. And also at this time of year also. I have so much going on in my personal life at this time of year and to lose a friend on top isn’t a good thing (it is never a good thing to lose a friend any time of the year, just to be clear).

So right now, I am just a few days to myself before I have to put on the big happy face to get through parts of Christmas, the New Year and then my Birthday. Which for the later a BBQ is already being planned, same as we did last year down by the waterfront. Again, same as last year only a few people and it was a great couple of hours. So that is something I am looking forward too.

Anyway, this is what is happening and I won’t be discussing it much as I will just get more and more depressed and I don’t need that right now. But Nikolas, you were an amazing person and one that I will never forget. RIP my friend. Everyone will miss you deeply.
