New Zealand records another COVID case linked to Hotel

New Zealand records ANOTHER coronavirus case in the community linked to ‘COVID Hotel’

Auckland’s Pullman Hotel has now been linked to five community cases of COVID-19 following a new positive test from a recently released returnee in Hamilton.

On Saturday, New Zealand’s health ministry announced they’d unearthed a new positive test from a person released on January 30.

The person has been self-isolating at home since their release, and officials believe the public health risk is low.

Despite the new community cases, New Zealand has not had community transmission for more than 10 weeks.

For that reason, the government has not raised alert levels or implemented new restrictions.
