Monday Morning Update

Welcome to the first Monday Morning Update. An update on the week before and ahead.

I am going to do a week behind update every Monday. Right now it is 5.21am at the start of writing this post. And right now I am on my first coffee of the day and feeling a bit chesty, achy and sweaty (this is one of the side effects from the start of withdrawal symptoms with my opioid addiction), this is what happens when I actually sleep a bit longer than normal and miss a dose of medication, but this should pass as soon as my medication begins kicking in.

So, as most people are aware I have been in lockdown mode for the last few days but I got myself out of that yesterday, a bit by force I must admit. Because I really did not want to go out yesterday but I pushed myself to go to Erina Fair on my own for a few hours. I went to Coles, had a nice big breakfast, tried to access the bank ATMs, but they were both down for the inter 3 hours that I was there, and then grabbed a few things from Kmart before returning home.

This week will be different from last week as I am no longer in lockdown and that is a good thing because this is going to be a busy week. I have my Doctors today, Eye Care tomorrow, Neurologist on Wednesday, Thursday is free and Friday is back to the Chemist and picking up some basic things from the shops (I know for a fact I don’t need milk this week at all, I have way too much as it is right now).

I have a parcel to pick up this morning from the Post Office, I will probably arrange to collect that myself before one of my caseworkers arrive to take me to the Doctors, which again is another double appt. and we have so much to go through. I need her to write a support letter, fill in a quick form and do my anxiety pre-dated scripts as the chemist has run out of those medication scripts and finally I need to get the Ultrasound results for the hernia that I have. So it is lucky I have a double. THen I am seeing her again on the 27th, which is mainly for just a regular check-up and also getting my monthly government scripts (depending on how much if left on the day I might have to get them earlier than Friday too, will have to wait and see though).

Yesterday I posted both on the HWS website and Facebook page about a change to the business opening hours. This is something that I have been giving a bit of thought for several weeks now. As I am mostly getting out at least once a week and with my appt.’s I have had to change my hours and add a gap in between. So I am going to try and arrange my appt.’s around my business hours.

Right now with HWS, I have a lot of work to get done on several other pages, a re-design of the new front page as well as adding in a phpBB community forum. This is going to take maybe a week or more to get completed, but then I will be having a re-launch special deal, which will be something big for 48 hours. But I am not saying anything else on that, you will have to keep an eye on the Hydra Web Services Facebook Page or my business website located HERE

I am now also using a new keyboard. I am no longer using a USB wired keyboard as my other had an issue where whenever I pressed the . on my number keypad it always brought up .33 and it was so annoying. So I bought a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set and it is perfect and it is actually keeping up with my typing speed also, not like them cheap wireless ones which take a long time to type and also most of the time misses of a lot of what you type when you are a speed typist. The other good thing is the keyboard is actually soft touch, so it isn’t loud and feels a lot better on my fingers when I type.

The before business hours parcel collection window opens at 7.30am so I will probably catch an Uber over there to collect it and then return home. It is only under 2 hours away from now. I am thinking that might be easiest then having one of my caseworkers take me into the actual Post Office after the Doctors later in the morning. And I might even put on a pair of my new CK boxer underwear before going to the Doctors too LMAO.

Anyway, that is enough from me for now. I will post again later today when I find out the latest news and results from the Doctor.
