Life Continues

I haven’t done a post for a little while now. So I have decided to do an update on things that are currently going on.

My Stelara injections for my psoriasis appear to be working. Not everywhere at the moment, as I have only had one injection so far. My next injection is on Sunday (in 5 days) then the 3rd is 12 weeks after that. There should be some major signs of improvement after this 2nd injection. I am hoping so. I have a few before photos and will do some more as the injection process continues.

I spent a night in hospital recently due to my foot. However, due to some issues I signed myself out the next morning and went home. It doesn’t appear to be too bad at the moment. I know my doctor isn’t happy as she left me a voicemail late Friday. But I get to see her tomorrow, that is going to be an interesting visit. I am expecting a major lecture on me signing myself out. Hopefully when I explain why she will understand.

I am still in my unit on the Central Coast, and I must say that as it is approaching the 12 month mark I am beginning to struggle. And the problem is people do not understand why I feel the way I do about this. I have been thinking about just giving up, but I don’t really want to do that as I know it is going to effect my health really badly if I do go back to living on the street. And there is also the fact that I really don’t think I could handle going back to that lifestyle again.

I am hanging in there as much as I can. And the sooner I can get back in to see my counsellor the better. But he hasn’t been replying to texts or emails. So my caseworker is going to contact him to find out what is going on.

And Summer for 2018-2019 is now over. Very soon we will enter into Winter. And they are saying it is going to be another cold winter, pretty much the same as last year. So I am pleased that I am not sleeping out anymore with this fast approaching. I can not handle the cold that much anymore. I have become too used to now living indoors.

Anyway, that is all for now and I will try to begin writing a bit more very soon and not leave it so long in between posts. Sorry about that, but there has been a lot going on.
