Yesterday was the Supreme Court sentencing for Erin Patterson, triple-convicted mushroom beef wellington murderer. 3 terms of life in prison for 3 counts of murder and 1 term of 25 years for attempted murder. She will be eligible for parole after 33 years. She will be 81 years old when she can apply for parole – not sure she will even live that long. It is most likely that she will die in prison.
IMO, she should not have the opportunity of parole. She should rot in prison for the murders and attempted murder that she committed. That is my personal opinion anyway.
We are currently waiting to hear whether or not she is going to appeal her sentence. But really, there are no grounds for appeal as it is. The Supreme Court Justice was very strict on his handling of the case to make sure an appeal would be pretty much impossible.
