7 1/2 Week Holiday

I am now on night 7 of my 7 1/2 week holiday to my parents on the Mid North Coast. It is so good being out of my little dog box for some time. I have all security measures in place whilst I am away for an extended period of time.

I am still having regular video consults with my doctors and specialists. Medication is still being taken and my foot is looking a bit worse today after looking a bit better for a few days. So I continue with the drugs and see what happens when I speak with my doctor next. Hopefully, it doesn’t end up with an extended stay up here as I have to be admitted to the hospital. But we will see how that one goes for now. But, if my doctors tell me I need to go to the hospital here, then so be it. That is what will happen, but then I will try to get it planned for me to return home and be under the care of my own vascular surgeon back on the Central Coast. They can put a PICC line in here and then I arrange transport home whilst they arrange everything prior with my vascular team at home.

But, there will be no way I will be remaining in a hospital with surgeons I don’t know and that don’t know me, my issues or the care treatment I have been under for over 4 years now.

We have had some really nice dinners so far and many more to come over the next 6 1/2 weeks. I am still working on Sore Eyes RP, my FiveM server whilst away, just a little bit less than normal but everything is still getting done.

We have lots of things planned over the next 6 1/2 weeks I am just hoping that everything turns out fine. But there are some things that have happened here already, especially at the Toormina Medical Centre, which is something I will get into in another post in the coming days.

Tomorrow morning will be an early start have to have a fasting blood test (which is months overdue due to COVID) at 8am and can’t have anything other than water and my pain and anxiety medication after midnight tonight. Then afterwards it will be straight to my favourite pie shop in the area for 2 potatoe and cheese pies and a cup of coffee or an energy drink to get a bit of sugar first thing.

Anyway, it is now 10pm so I will end this post here and be heading to bed shortly. Hope you all have a wonderful few days and I will write again soon, I will also be posting some pictures of some locations that we have planned. So stay tuned for those also.
