2019 – A New Year Begins

It is now 2019. We are just over half way through the first day of the new year. This year is going to be the best year I have ever had. How do I know that? Because I declare that to be the case and I am going to make sure that this is the best year ever.

I have the support of good friends and some good Support Workers involved in my life now and I am also no longer homeless (going on 12 months now) so changes have already begun to happen. And I have also removed a lot of people out of my life that have just used or abused me for years and I have just put up with it. Which is one thing that I will not do anymore. It is time that I had a decent life. It is time that I began looking after myself better and not allowed these so-called friends in my life to keep dragging me down. It just isn’t going to happen anymore. Trust me, it isn’t easy removing people who you have known for years out of your life, but sometimes it is for the best. And I know for me it is the best thing that I can do to start making my life better.

Last night I just stayed at home. I was in a lot of pain last night and also with my anxiety and the amount of people that were out would have sent me into some big panic attacks, even with taking my medication I believe. And I actually got one of the best nights sleep I have had in a very long time. I was up and down a few times, but it was still the best sleep I have had in a very long time. So I am pleased I stayed home.

Tomorrow begins the health journey to get things back on track. The first doctors appt. for 2019 is at 1130am tomorrow morning – 2nd January 2019. And then specialist appt. on the 9th in Hornsby. So it is going to be another long road to health recovery. But one that is obviously needed for anyone that knows my health issues.

So let 2019 begin and let my new life journey begin. It’s time for major changes and that time to happen is right now.
